Gundam models mini-photoshoot

Hello again! Just wanted to bring back the spotlight on some Gundam model kit images taken back around January. These image are from flickr so I hope they link back there when I exceed the 200 image mark again. What Gundam model kits? Just my Zaku 2, Gundam Rx-79[G], and Gundam Kyrios.

Gundam RX-79[G] – My favourite Earth Federation mobile suit. I won’t pilot anything else the Feddies have, unless it is this Gundam. Why? This thing is built tough while the GM’s and other are simply cardboard cut outs, tin cans, or tin foil like. I mean they’re basically canon fodder.

James Bond pose? Looks like it to me.

I only put three of my 6 Gundam model kits in the image because I forgot about the other three – Wing Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero Custom, and the largest Wing Gundam model.

The hand was also a pain to  get the loose fingers to grip the gun. It loosens it’s grip after a bit and when you shake the model itself. On the bright side, it did survive about a 2 meter fall from a desk back around 2004.

Gundam’s 30th Anniversary – MTV special

I didn’t take many pictures back in January which leaves me the chance do to more Gundam like scenes at a later date. It also seems like I won’t be using Flickr until I get a pro account as I’m still capped at 200, even after deleting many images. I’m also going to look for an amphibious Zeon mobile suit as the Ottawa river provides an already prepared scenic display for large and miniature scaled photoshoot range and figure/model scale. I may try for an Acguy, Z’Gok, Z’Gok E, or a Hy-Gogg model kit for those. Also saw some Gundam markers which I hope I can still acquire as well. So much to do for the site & blog yet not much to upload as I keep getting stuck in ideas for photoshoots heh.

I’ll make a more serious Gundam article later down the road so for now thanks for viewing, visiting and hope to see you soon.
